    Terms of service

    Last updated: 29 September 2026

    1. About these terms

These terms and conditions of sale apply to every order placed on revedeveilleuse.com by a consumer, meaning an individual acting for purposes that are wholly or mainly outside their trade, business, craft or profession.

By placing an order, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms. They are shown to you before payment and you must accept them to complete your order. The version that applies to your order is the one in force on the day you place it: later changes do not apply to it.

    2. Who we are

This website is operated by LDR ECOM GROUP, a French simplified joint-stock company (société par actions simplifiée) with a share capital of 1 euro, whose registered office is at 60 rue François 1er, 75008 Paris, France, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 101 856 813, EU VAT number FR81 101 856 813. LDR ECOM GROUP trades under the brand Rêve de Veilleuse.

Contact: support@revedeveilleuse.com. We reply within 24 hours, Monday to Friday.

    3. Our products

We sell night lights and products related to children's sleep. Each product page describes the main characteristics of the item: materials, light source, power supply, dimensions, recommended age and certifications where available.

Photos illustrate the product but are not contractual as regards colour rendering: no screen reproduces a shade exactly, and the light given off by a night light is particularly hard to photograph accurately. The written characteristics, however, are binding on both you and us.

Our offers are valid while they are shown on the website and while stocks last. If a product becomes unavailable after you've ordered, we'll let you know and refund you in full as soon as possible.

    4. Prices

Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT. Delivery charges are extra unless stated otherwise. The delivery charge is shown before you confirm your order, and the full total is shown to you before you pay.

Delivery is free on orders above the amount shown in your basket. Below that amount, the delivery charge shown at checkout applies.

For orders over £135, import VAT and any customs duty are collected at the border by the carrier, as explained in our shipping policy.

We may change our prices at any time, but the price that applies to your order is the one shown when you confirm it.

    5. Placing an order

You choose your items, add them to your basket, enter your details and delivery address, choose your payment method and then confirm. Before confirming, you can go back and correct any mistakes.

The contract is formed when your payment is accepted. You then receive a confirmation email with the details of your order. If you don't receive it, please check your spam folder before contacting us.

We may refuse an order for a legitimate reason, for example an ongoing payment dispute, a clearly incorrect address, or a quantity that doesn't match normal consumer use. We'll let you know by email and refund you where applicable.

    6. Payment

Payment is taken in full when you order, by debit or credit card, PayPal, Apple Pay, Shop Pay or American Express.

Card transactions are processed by our payment provider over an encrypted connection. We never have access to your full card number and we don't store it.

Your order is only processed once payment has been received. If payment is declined or reversed, the order is cancelled.

    7. Delivery

We deliver to addresses in the United Kingdom, to the address you give when ordering. Please check it before confirming: an incorrect address may lead to the parcel being returned and resent at your cost.

Your order is dispatched within 1 to 2 working days. Delivery then takes 7 to 12 working days. These are average estimates: we don't promise a specific arrival date.

In any case, we will deliver your order within 30 days of the contract being made. If we don't, you can give us a further reasonable period to deliver and, if we still fail to do so, cancel the order in writing. We would then refund everything you paid within 14 days of receiving your decision.

A tracking link is sent to you when your parcel leaves. The carrier's first scan may take a few hours to appear.

If the parcel is visibly damaged on arrival, tell the delivery driver, take a photo before opening if you can, then email us. This helps us make the claim with the carrier.

    8. Ownership and risk

You become the owner of the products once your order has been paid in full. The risk of loss or damage only passes to you when you, or someone you have named, take physical possession of the parcel. Anything that happens to the product in transit is therefore our responsibility.

    9. Your right to cancel

You have 30 days from the day you receive your order to change your mind, without giving any reason. The law gives you 14 days; we extend this to 30. Night lights engraved or personalised with a name are excluded from this right, as the law allows, unless they are faulty or we made a mistake.

The details, the steps to follow, the costs and the model cancellation form are set out in our returns and refund policy, which forms part of these terms.

In short: you tell us before the 30 days are up, you send the item back within 14 days after that, you pay the cost of returning it, and we refund everything you paid, including standard delivery, no later than 14 days after we receive the item back or receive proof that you have sent it.

    10. Your statutory rights

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the goods we sell must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If they're not, you can reject them for a full refund within 30 days of delivery. After that, you're entitled to a repair or a replacement and, if that isn't possible or doesn't fix the problem, to a price reduction or a refund. A fault that appears within six months of delivery is presumed to have been there on delivery, unless we can show otherwise. You can make a claim for up to six years (five years in Scotland).

To make a claim, email us at support@revedeveilleuse.com with your order number and, if possible, a photo or short video of the fault. We pay any return costs.

Our products are simple electrical items that are not designed to be repaired by the user. We don't keep spare parts, so claims are handled by replacement or refund.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights. For more information, contact Citizens Advice.

    11. Using our products

Our night lights are comfort products, not medical devices or bath toys. Please follow the recommended age, the instructions and the power supply conditions shown on the product page. A product used outside these conditions may not be covered when making a claim.

    12. Our responsibility to you

If we fail to comply with these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or our negligence. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable, nor for business losses, as our products are for domestic and private use only.

We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for breach of your statutory rights.

    13. Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control. If such an event lasts more than 30 days, either of us may end the contract, and you will be refunded for anything you have paid for but not received.

    14. Intellectual property

All content on this website, including texts, images, illustrations, logo and design, is protected. Any reproduction, even partial, is prohibited without our written permission. This does not prevent you from sharing a link to a page of the website.

    15. Your personal data

How we use your data is explained in our privacy policy, which sets out what we collect, why, for how long, and how to exercise your rights.

    16. Complaints

If you have a problem, please email us first at support@revedeveilleuse.com. Most issues are sorted out in a single exchange.

If you're not happy with our reply, you can get free, impartial advice from Citizens Advice (England and Wales), Advice Direct Scotland or Consumerline (Northern Ireland).

    17. Governing law and courts

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland, you can bring proceedings in Scotland, and if you live in Northern Ireland, in Northern Ireland. Nothing in this clause deprives you of the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the part of the UK where you live.

    18. Other important terms

If a court finds part of these terms invalid or unenforceable, the rest will continue to apply. If we don't insist on a term straight away, we can still enforce it later.

These terms, together with the returns policy and the privacy policy they refer to, make up the entire agreement between you and us for your order.
